Beading & Jewelry Making
Make jewelry one bead at a time.
Beading covers a lot of ground. Stringing beads on cord for bracelets and necklaces, stringing on wire for earrings and complex pieces, weaving beads with needle and thread for flat patterns.
The simplest version is a stretch cord, a pile of beads, and a knot at the end. The most complex is bead weaving with looms or peyote stitches that look like fabric.
It's tidy. Beads stay in their containers and tools are small. Most people find it portable. Easy to pick up, easy to put down.
You’ll love beading & jewelry making if…
- you want a finished thing in a single sitting.
- you want a hobby that costs almost nothing to start.
- you like making gifts for people.
