The short version

WhichCraft does not collect personal information, does not require you to sign up, and does not run advertising trackers. The quiz keeps your answers in your browser only. Two third parties see limited data: Vercel (which hosts the site) and Amazon (when you click an affiliate link).

Quiz answers

Quiz answers are saved to your browser's local storage so you can return to a quiz in progress. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data, or starting a fresh quiz, removes the saved answers.

Analytics

WhichCraft uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand which pages get visited and how the site performs. Vercel's analytics are cookieless and do not collect IP addresses or other personally identifying information. The data is aggregated and anonymous.

Affiliate links

Product cards on hobby pages link to Amazon and other retailers through affiliate programs. When you click one of those links, the destination site (Amazon, etc.) may set its own cookies to attribute any purchase you make. Those cookies are governed by the destination site's privacy policy, not this one.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps short-term server logs for security and reliability purposes, which can include IP addresses. Those logs are managed by Vercel and are not shared with any third party by WhichCraft.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect the new version.
